Notification and Preliminary Call for Papers

The World Congress on Education (WCE-2012) is a multidisciplinary congress, bridging efforts across the natural, social and engineering sciences, the environment and development of communities. The congress covers a wide spectrum of topics that relate to education, which includes Pedagogy, ICT, education for sustainable development and the development of supportive policy context in research areas. It also encourages sharing best practices and strengthening international solidarity.

The mission of WCE-2012 is to provide the opportunities for collaboration and reflection that have the potential to greatly enhance the infrastructure and capacity for conducting and applying art, science and technology for teaching-learning process, broadening the means and scope of basic education. The WCE bridges the gap between issues and trends in education by creating awareness of current development and the establishment of best practices.

All the accepted papers will appear in the proceedings and modified version of selected papers will be published in special issues peer reviewed journals.

Information for Workshop and Special Track Organisers

If you wish to organise a Special Track or Workshop, please forward your proposal to stw@worldconedu.org

The proposal must include:

1. The name and topic of the Workshop or Special Track .
2. A statement of goals.
3. The names and addresses of the organisers.
4. The names of potential participants, such as program committee members.
5. A description of the plans for call for participation (e.g., call for papers).
6. The expected number of attendees and the planned length of the workshop.

Sessions Speakers Participation

The WCE-2012 invites speakers to share their knowledge on issues or subject matters of the research work. To be a session speaker, you need to emial:

1. Presentation Title
2. Scope (300 words)
3. Objective and Motivation (200 words)
4. Name, Affiliation and Email

If you are interested in giving a talk without submiting a paper, please email your proposal to the speakers@worldconedu.org The proposal will be reviewed by the Steering Committees. After acceptance, you will recieve a feedback on any modification required. All accepted proposals will be published in the proceedings.
